i did this for a friend [link]. shes always wanted to be vectored but unfortunately her pictures were too small & not very good quality / clear enuff. so i opened up illustration & attempted to recreate her as best as i could, in 'vector / cartoon / illustration' format this is what i came up with she loved it by the way
